Marion GlassBrick Gaborick

Marion GlassBrick Gaborik

Marion Gaborik, This  Trencin, Slovak Republic hockey player has never played up to the potential they thought he could be.  Everyone even myself thought that we were getting a great player, but after the third year I had enough of his lack luster play. Marion plays when he wants to and that is not very offen, he mishandles the puck and constantly passes the puck to the other team. He has misses 27 games in the season 2008/09 this has been a year in and year out problem. 2000/01 he missed 10 games, 2001/02 he missed 4 games, 2002/03 he missed 1 games, 2003/04 he missed 17 games, 2004/05 he missed 82 games walk out/lockout, 2005/06 he missed 17 games, 2006/07 he missed 34 games, 2007/08 he missed 5 games and in 2008/09 he has missed 27 games so far. even after getting a but raise he still does not play like he wants to be on the Wild. This year the fans are even booing him and Gabbies kids. He is not a a roll model or a model for kids in need. He shows his greed by always wanting more or he will not play and if he does not get his time on the ice it seems to us fans that he takes the night off and does not try at all. The fact is that Gaborik is not worth the money he is paid by the Wild {8+ million a year}

What will the Wild do and when will they pull the trigger. I say get what you can for him and get it now. before he gets hurt again. it is time for the trade and long over due. trade him now and get it over with. so the team and fans can get over this cancer.

More Trade Rumors

December 27th, 2008

The Marian Gaborik story has gone international, and what was briefly the Twin Cities’ own little hockey drama has quickly jumped the shark. What had moved incrementally via reporting and sourcing has been pushed into hyper drive by rumor, innuendo and speculation. Rumors have been out there, but mostly crazy ones, such as Gaborik straight up for Pittsburgh’s Evgeni Malkin (Wild: “Uh, where do I sign?”) or Gaborik to Edmonton (he doesn’t want to be here, you think he wants to be in Edmonton?). But the rumor the Montreal press was sinking its teeth into Monday isn’t so patently insane: Gaborik to Montreal for winger Higgins, backup goalie Jaroslav Halak and either a first-round draft pick or top prospect Ryan McDonagh (yes, that Ryan McDonagh).

Wild in a trade mood?

Wild trying to make “impact move”

According to the Minneapolis Star Tribune, Wild GM Doug Risebrough has been working the phones and is trying to make a significant trade. Citing a league source, the Star Tribune claims Risebrough was “frantically” working the phones yesterday trying to make an “impact move.”

Wild head coach Jacques Lemaire was not available to speak with the media this morning, neither was Risebrough.

Wild assistant coach Mario Tremblay told the Star Tribune that Lemaire was in a “meeting.”

Marian Gaborik, who is expected to be dealt before the March 4 trade deadline, was the first player off the ice following today’s morning skate, however the Star Tribune reports it may be due to the 26-year-old feeling discomfort, despite the fact that he said he will play tonight.
